F1 Las Vegas - Grand Prix

We were asked to be part of the content team at the Las Vegas Grand Prix with our friends at 16k Agency in London. Our director Sam helped pick some of the 40 strong team for the race and flew out to Las Vegas for a week in November. Sam led one of the content teams and organised the filming and photography of the opening concert. Working with over 20 different commercial partners and teams, the rapid turnaround onsite delivery of onsite content was crucial for the success of the Grand Prix online.

Over the week leading up to and of the race weekend, the huge team of photographers, videographers, producers, and editors worked crazy hours to deliver content for all key stakeholders. We were also tasked with last-minute curveballs due to operational challenges like the race track being closed for over four hours. We had to continue to show the world the positives of the race during a tricky social backlash at the organisers.

In the end, the content and the race were both fantastic with most insiders and fans labeling it the best race of the season.

The team at 16K and all the freelancers involved did an amazing job and DGTL is very proud to have played a part.
